As per Vastu Pooja room of a house could well be planned in the South East, East or North East part of the house. Precisely, out of the three above options, South East and Eastern part of the house is very appropriate to plan the Pooja Room vastu.

There is a common talk that photo frames or articles of divine remembrances of our ancestors should not be in the Pooja Room. One should not forget that our parents and grandparents were the ones who taught us the world. They should equally be respected as we do towards Gods. Yes, their photos and divine articles of remembrance can well be placed in our Pooja Room.
